Product Description: 

First Words International Home HD is a voice output language, foreign language and vocabulary tutorial app for the iPad that was designed for use by a language therapist. This app allows a therapist or parent to use an Apple iPad to help children to learn the words for common nouns and learn the names of basic objects in any or all of the following languages: English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese, Hindi or Russian. The app includes five objects (bird, foot, apple, ball, and baby) shown in 10 or more ways so the child can generalize their meaning.

Main Features: 

The First Words International HD Home edition includes these features:

  • 50 Basic nouns depicted in photos, color drawing or black and white representations (User can choose).
  • Ten or more representations of each word to help with generalization.
  • Seven different languages to choose from English (American accent), Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, French, Hindi, and Russian. Suitable for bilingual children or those wishing to learn a new language
  • Text on or Text off feature.
  • Three levels: Teach, Find It (Receptive), Say It (Expressive) including a recording feature.
  • 28 quick animations after each correct "Find the Word" response.
  • Data collection for Find the Word and Say the Word activities.

Primary Specifications: 

  • Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPad only.
