Product Description: 

The HITEC Guest Room ADA Compliant Case sets are all-in-one kits featuring a variety of products needed to comply with ADA standards for hotel guests who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. All components can be easily installed or removed by hotel or hospital personnel.

Set 3

Includes a carrying case; a TTY; an in-line telephone amplifier; vibrating, amplified alarm clock; telephone signaler; wireless door alert signaler; a combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector; and a dual phone jack.

Set 3CL

This set includes the same components as Set 3 but does not include a carbon monoxide detector.

Set 4 

This set includes a more powerful vibrating alarm clock with built-in telephone signaler.

Main Features: 

  • Product components:
    • A TTY is a special device that lets people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired use the telephone to communicate, by allowing them to type messages back and forth to one another instead of talking and listening.
    • Telephone amplifier: can increase volume 100 times the normal level of the phone. Includes tone and volume control, and a “boost” function. 
    • Telephone signaler: alerts room occupants to incoming telephone calls (from a landline telephone, faxes, and video phones).
    • Door alert signaler: wireless push button door alert and notices occupants that someone is at the door by flashes a light to be alerted.
