Product Description: 

The iPad/Tablet Dual Button Box is a switch control interface designed to enable individuals with severe physical, motor control, neurological or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury to control a two-switch adapted device.

Main Features: 

  • The user plugs the switch input of the device they want to control into the back of the box.
  • One button on the box will "step scan" through the device's menu or options.
  • When the user reaches the desired option or action, they press the second button, which is labeled "Select."
  • Step-scanning uses 1 button (or switch) to move the onscreen highlighter (selector, and audio preview, if that is enabled), and another to Select. 
  • Some special needs apps have built-in scanning abilities and most have two-switch Step-scan as an option. 
  • Within Switch Control, is Recipes, which allows a designated switch/button to turn the pages in a storybook or perform some other repetitive action within 'regular' apps.
