Mathematical Flex
Product Description:
Mathematical Flex is an online program built around a 5-7 week training course that can improve the mathematical ability of children and adolescents who have difficulty with math, typically due to speech blindness, difficulty concentrating or dyslexia. The program trains key mathematical skills such as number perception, number comprehension, and the mental number line.
Main Features:
- The purpose of the training is to consolidate mathematical knowledge in order to facilitate later mathematical learning.
- The training has a knock-on effect on the student's approach to other natural sciences.
- It is aimed at students who are, for example, speech-blind, dyslexic or have difficulty concentrating.
- The program contains two separate training courses, each with its own graphic expression, one for juniors, ie. children aged 5 years, and one for seniors, ie from 12 years.
- It is based on research into how mathematical skills are developed and learned.
- The program's exercises train basic mathematical skills, such as the perception of numbers, number comprehension, mental number line, and fraction calculation.
- The program is adaptive, so the exercises continuously adapt to the user's level.
- The student is always challenged at an appropriate level, which has proven to be a key factor for effective training.
- Additional materials:
- Trainer: Guides for the trainer and student help with preparation and overview of the process.
- Pupil's logbook: The purpose of the training and the course for the student is explained here. In the logbook, the student can prepare for the training and note the rewards of the week.
