Odd One Out is an app designed for children whose speech is still developing and for people with dysphasia, dyslexia, and dysgraphia that improves their categorization and semantic reasoning skills through categorization games. Working with Dubdub, the dinosaur, the user chooses the object that doesn't belong to the items presented on the screen.

Main Features: 

  • The app helps children work on important skills to understand how words are related to each other, how words have meaning and to think about the differences between the meaning of words.
  • Using symbols and visual and auditory feedback, the app can be used for carrying over therapy goals at home.
  • It features 20 sets of cards per level.
  • Recordkeeping functions enable therapists and teachers to track progress and adjust the difficulty of the activity.
  • At the end of each set, the user can watch motivational videos of Dubdub, the dinosaur, and see their results.
