Office Lens is an app that trims, enhances, and makes pictures of whiteboards and docs readable. You can use Office Lens to convert images to PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files, and you can save images to OneNote or OneDrive. 

Main Features: 

  • Office Lens captures notes and info from whiteboards, menus, signs, handwritten memos, or anything with a lot of text.
  • It can capture sketches, drawings, equations and images without text.
  • Users can sketch ideas and take a picture for later.
  • Capture and crop a picture of a whiteboard or blackboard to share meeting notes.
  • Make digital copies of printed documents, business cards, or posters, and trim them.
  • Printed and handwritten text will be automatically recognized (using OCR), so users can search for words in images and then copy and edit them.
  • With Whiteboard mode, Office Lens trims and cleans up glare and shadows.
  • With Document mode, Office Lens trims and colors images.
  • Business Card mode can extract contact information and save it into your address book and OneNote. This feature works best with the following business cards: English, German, Spanish and Chinese.
  • Office Lens can crop images of curved items or folded papers.
