Product Description: 

The Personal Life Skills Curriculum is an independent living skills tutorial program designed for use by individuals with cognitive or learning disabilities or low vision. This series can be used independently or in groups and was designed to promote reading comprehension and the critical thinking skills necessary for students to transition from school to the workplace and community living. The titles included are Employability Skills, Personal Consumerism Skills, Personal Finance, Contemporary Living.

Main Features: 

  • Books are done in large fonts and are also available in digital format so that the books can be put into braille or larger font. 
  • The interactive CD-ROMs lessons are provided both in print and in audio formats.
  • The interactive CD-ROMs programs can also be operated using alternative input devices such as touch screens.
  • No speed component so students can take as little or as much time as they need.
  • The CD-ROM programs have mastery components and interactive activities which students can repeat as many times as they need or want. 
  • The CD-ROMs have audio and visual components that can be used independently or combined. 
  • Comes with pre/post-tests to be used for assessment, evaluation, and/or accountability. 
  • Comes with lesson plans. 
  • Comes with certificates of achievement.
