The SoundPOD is a wearable AAC speaker system that connects wirelessly to an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch via Bluetooth. It can be attached to the strap of a device carry bag, worn on a breakaway neck lanyard or attached magnetically to a device.

Main Features: 

• Software: The AAC software will be dependant upon what is chosen for use on the iPad or iPod. iPads are not included with the SoundPOD
• Speech Quality: Speech output from the iPad is made loud and clear by the SoundPOD speaker system. Volume can be adjusted on the SoundPOD using the + and - buttons on the front panel.
• Access: There are no switch access ports on SoundPOD. Access is determined by the iPad setup. A headphone jack on the iPad allows for personal listening. The public output is cut off when the headphone jack is in use.
• Portability: Light and portable. Can be attached to a satchel strap, worn around a lanyard or attached magnetically to the device (with magnetic cradle)
• Accessories: lanyard, USB cable for charging.

Primary Specifications: 

• The device uses a rechargeable battery. The LED on the front panel indicates the battery and charging status.
• Like all Bluetooth devices, the SoundPOD must be paired with the iPad or the main device being used.
