Teenage Switch Progressions is a control switch training program designed for use by teenagers with upper extremity disabilities.
Main Features:
- It includes five simulation activities designed for those making the transition from randomly activating a single switch to activating a switch with specific timing.
- The skills taught include cause and effect (level 0) and attending to extended tasks (level 1), following directions (level 2), and responding to visual or auditory computer information (levels 3 and 4).
- Each activity can be selected at any level.
- Other adjustable parameters include reaction speed, penalty (for inattention or inappropriate activation), length of reinforcement, reinforcement upon switch hit or release, and auditory feedback.
- The graphics are age-appropriate and the program enables the user to record music for use with the program.
- It can be accessed using a switch, a touch screen, MouseClick, or the keyboard spacebar.
