Simple Speaking Text 7 (TPS7) is a mini-word processor provided with reading and writing assistance functions by using a text-to-speech voice and a predictive dictionary. Its use can provide help for people with difficulties grouped under the term "dys".
Main Features:
- The program starts alone after 10 seconds, or when users click on the “Start” button.

The synthetic voice can read:
- the current text.
- the last word typed (option).
- the letter typed on the keyboard (option).
- any selected text or part of the text.

Text can be formatted by using a specific toolbar concerning:
- the font, its size, and color.
- the centering of the text.
- The “RTF Text” tab contains various control buttons corresponding to standard word processing functions or common program functions.
- The predictive dictionary may or may not be used while typing; writing can be faster if the dictionary is not used.
- A button activates the spell checker. It only works if the Libre Office or Open Office and the corrector are correctly installed.
- The default font used at the outset for writing is "Arial" in size 24.
- The "Print" button offers a wide range of functions. However, the printing capabilities of this program are limited to approximately two or three pages with images. If printing is very large, the program may remain stuck. Use a "real" word processor to print a large document.
- Synthetic voice settings: The synthetic voice (in French) used by the program is the SAPI5 standard voice defined as the default voice by the Windows control panel.
