To set up Vibrating Alerts in iOS:

Select Settings> Sounds & Haptics and touch the Vibrate on Ring and/or Vibrate on Silent to turn the controls on and off.

To set up Vibrating Alerts in Android:

Select Settings> Sound and Notifications and touch the controls for vibration. In Android, it is possible to create custom vibration patterns for different alerts.
