Computer Access and Use (PC, Tablet, eBook)
People with limited function may find computers, tablets, and other such devices difficult to use for four basic reasons.
- They may have difficulty putting information into the device to tell it what they would like it to do, because of difficulty using the keyboard.
- They may have difficulty getting information from the device because of the inability to see, hear, or understand what the device is presenting.
- They may wish to use the device in ways that are not common for non-disabled people.
- They may have difficulty connecting their device to other components of their life (internet, printers, etc.) or holding the device in an accessible position.
