The B & M Dokuphon II is a reading system with voice output which also includes a scanner. 

Main Features: 

• The B & M Dokuphon II simply reads everything printed: the letter from the office as well as newspapers, pocketbooks or magazines, uppercase and lowercase, italic and bold, colored or black and white.
• The location of the text is automatically detected and separated from the images.
• Even multi-columned grides are no problem for the reading system.
• All sentences are read out in German or other languages. Misspelled text can be spelled. In addition, difficult texts can also be read out by sentence or word by word. 
• Reading aloud can be stopped and continued at any time by pressing a button.
• The buttons on the front of the device make it easy to operate the device. In the simplest case, you only need to press a single key and the text will automatically be read out. The current state is broadcast in the form of a brief explanation and optically by differently lit buttons. 
• It is also possible to adjust the treble and bass separately. This is particularly advantageous for those with hearing aids. Various other functions are possible. 
• A text memory capacity of 8 GB which corresponds to a data volume of 8,000,000,000 characters. 
• The used scanner can be adapted to the needs of the customer and be replaced by other models, eg book scanners or A3 scanners.
