Product Description: 

bBREK (bluetooth braille enhanced keyboard) is a portable physical keyboard designed for users with no vision to facilitate writing Braille on mobile devices which are equipped only with a virtual on-screen keyboard. It is compatible with mobile devices, but can also be used with desktop computers in parallel with the traditional standard keyboard.

Main Features: 

  • bBREK is protected in a thermoplastic ABS container which makes it very light and portable.
  • The keys have been made of silicone rubber, to obtain maximum typing silence and good touch comfort: 
    • Six elongated keys arranged vertically according to the Perkins Brailler standard.
    • A horizontal "Space" button, elongated, arranged at the bottom.
    • Two round-shaped keys, to the left and right of Space, for points seven and eight.
  • On the rear edge, a mini-USB connector for charging the battery and the micropower switch.
  • Pressing the Space key, in combination with the other eight keys, allows the execution of system commands such as Enter, Esc, Tab, DELETE, Arrows, function keys commands and specific for VoiceOver or Jaws / NVDA that are added to the 256 characters Traditional braille.
  • Power is supplied by connecting the bBREK to the PC or with a 5V USB power supply, not included in the package.
  • Included in the package: bBREK, mini-USB USB cable and information sheet in black.
