Chewing word is software for word processing that assists with keyboard input and verbal communication for people with hand or voice disabilities, for people who wish to speed up a standard or adapted spelling protocol, for dyslexic students, or for children in phase learning to read.
Main Features:
- It displays a keyboard whose keys change constantly, as a word is entered. The letters that appear on the keyboard are those that are most likely to follow the letters previously entered.
- Chewing Word also offers an "automatic click" mode. If the users are using a gaze tracking interface, Chewing Word validates the selected key when the cursor remains there for a certain number of seconds.
- If it is difficult to move the cursor, users can activate an automatic scrolling mode. They can click at the right time in the letter to choose it.
