Product Description:
LOK8U Freedom is a wandering patient system designed for elderly persons and those with autism and dementia that detects a wandering event, and alerts the user as soon as their family member moves out of the safe zone that has been set.
Main Features:
- Composed of three modules - a handheld receiver, a wireless transmitter and locator worn on the wrist, and a charging station for the receiver and the locator.
- The portable radio frequency receiver can track the location of the transmitter.
- The receiver has a range of 30 meters indoors and 200 meters outdoors, and the range can be adjusted within those limits. T
- The transmitter is worn like a watch on the wrist, and it displays the time like a watch. It is an RF transmitter tuned to the receiver, and it also is a GPS and GSM locator.
- If the transmitter moves outside of the receiver's defined range, an alarm sounds on the receiver, and the caregiver can use a computer or smartphone that connects to the Internet to locate the transmitter using its GPS/GSM coordinates.
- The transmitter does not transmit via GPS or GSM until it is out of range of the receiver.
- The transmitter also has an emergency alert button that a person can press when assistance is needed immediately.
- Watch is water-, scratch- and shock-resistant, and it has a digital display and a hypoallergenic band.
