Product Description: 

Text Replacement is a version of Abbreviation Expansion that is built into iOS. With Text Replacement, the user can type a "shortcut" (abbreviation), which will be automatically replaced by the replacement text. Users can create custom text replacement words and shortcuts throughout both iOS and Mac OS programs.

Main Features: 

  • To Activate Text Replacement in iOS:
    • Select Settings> General> Keyboard> Text Replacement.
    • The resulting screen shows the available shortcuts and replacements.  
    • These can be edited or expanded by tapping "Edit" at the bottom left of the screen.  
    • Type the phrase that should be the replacement.  
    • Press Enter.
    • Type the shortcut letters.  
    • Tap "Save" to save the replacement.
