SoundNote is a productivity app for the Apple iPad and Mac that syncs recorded audio with the notes taken during a recording. The app is suited for children who are easily distracted or who may not understand something a teacher has said during a lesson. Students also can add drawings to their notes to help them remember what the teacher has said.
Main Features:
- Tracks what the user types and draws while recording audio.
- Tap a word during playback and SoundNote will jump to the proper time in the audio.
- Offers drawing tool for quick sketches.
- For editing drawings, tap a drawing to select it, or tap twice to select an individual stroke.
- If the user falls asleep during a lecture or meeting, by tapping what they wrote while awake, SoundNote will play the audio to help them fill in the blanks.
- Share text, drawings, and audio notes via email, or transfer them directly to a Mac or PC.
Primary Specifications:
- Requires iOS 9.3 or later.
- Compatible with iPad and Mac.
- Audio notes are recorded in standard M4A format: One hour of high-quality audio is 25MB.
