PDF Reader
Product Description:
PDF Reader is a free program for blind and visually-impaired people that opens PDF and image files as plain text.
Main Features:
- Designed to make PDF and image files easy to read with a screen reader.
- Users can save files as text documents so they can read them later.
- Inaccessible PDF files and image files (JPEG, TIFF) are OCR'd to extract text.
- Open a PDF or image using the standard File dialog. Users can make the program the default PDF reader (handler).
- Opens PDF, JPEG, GIF, TIFF and PNG files with OCR where required.

- It uses the open-source pdftotext.exe program from foo labs, the Tesseract OCR program from Google, and the GhostScript program.

- Runs on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or later (Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10). 32- or 64-bit versions are all supported.
- The Microsoft .Net Framework 4 Client Version is required.
