Switch Interfaces
Accessibility switches are commonly used to control devices that were designed for switch control and have no direct method to connect the switch. Such devices require a means to connect the switch through a connector intended for another purpose. This connection is commonly done through a "switch interface."
Selecting the appropriate switch interface may depend on:
- The number of switches to be connected
- Whether the device expects to be controlled by keyboard action or mouse click
- Whether the connection must be wireless
