Multi-Switch

There are many different types of multi-switch interfaces that allow control of a device via accessibility switches.  Some of these look, to the device, like keyboards, others generates the same signals as a mouse button.  Some generate a “Human Interface Device (HID)” button click to control software that knows to look for such a signal.

Multi-switch interfaces all allow a device to be controlled, to some extent, by access switches.  Different devices have different connections, so it is important to identify the type of connection that the interface communicates through: via what type of port.
